We go through what the site has to do, who it is for and what already works. No brief template, no discovery phase. You get a fixed quote in writing within two business days.

Your site goes live on a private link. Not a design file, not a slide. The actual working thing.
Day 3–4
You tell me what to change. It gets changed.
Day 5
We go live and I show you how everything works. Then you choose: I keep looking after it, or you take the keys and run it yourself. Either way it is yours.
I look after it
From $30/month. Hosting, security, backups, monitoring. You never think about it again.
You run it
Full handover. Domain, code, every account, plus written docs. No fee, no hard feelings.
Most sites are live within a week. Simple ones go within two days. The reason is not that I rush. It is that there is nobody to brief and no queue in front of you.
After launch
The build is one job. Keeping it working is another one, and it does not stop. The only question is who does it.
Hosting, $30/month
The site stays live, secure, backed up and monitored, with nothing for you to remember.
Looked after, $60/month
All of that, plus monthly changes, a simple editor built for your site, and priority when something is urgent.
No lock-in. 30 days notice, any time.
If you would rather run it yourself, that is genuinely fine and it costs nothing. I will hand over every account and write you the documentation.
Either way, you own it.
How it is built
Platforms. I have been building websites since Yahoo GeoCities. Since then, Wix, WordPress, Webflow and Shopify. These days I mostly build in Lovable because it is faster and the result is cleaner. But if you are running an online store, you cannot go wrong with Shopify. If you are not sure what you need, that is what the first conversation is for.
Payments and integrations. Stripe, PayPal, Shopify, booking systems, your accounting software. Whatever you already use. If you have not picked one yet, I will recommend something that fits.
On AI. I use Lovable and Claude Code to build. That is why I can turn a simple site around in a day or two when you need it done. The judgment is still mine, and everything gets reviewed before it goes near you.
On security. Most small business sites get compromised through out of date plugins. Yours will not have any. SSL, security updates and daily backups are standard, and if I am looking after your site I monitor uptime around the clock.
Every site gets optimised before launch. A full scan for security, SEO and AI search, and I fix what it finds. Most small business sites have never had that done once.

Who you are hiring
I co-owned Tasmania's largest pharmacy and sold it in 2017. During COVID I started a Tasmanian hand sanitiser operation and worked with the state emergency response team on medical supplies and supply chains. Twenty years of staff, stock, compliance and cash flow, all of it in Tasmania.
During that time I hired a lot of agencies, web designers and consultants. The frustrating part was never the price. It was the waiting. The account manager who had to check with someone. The three emails it took to change a phone number.
So I understand what a business owner actually needs out of this. You get one point of contact, you get told what is happening, and when you want something changed it gets done quickly rather than next sprint.

Questions
I climb a lot of Tasmania's mountains, and most of them are dolerite, the volcanic rock that forms our most dramatic peaks. I wanted the name to come from somewhere real. The websites are meant to work the same way. Built once, properly, and still standing in ten years.
