The challenge
Toorbunna Ski Club had a website that was two decades old. It was a noticeboard. Everything that actually mattered to running the club happened somewhere else: bunk bookings by email, member records in spreadsheets, committee votes at meetings or not at all.
The committee are volunteers. Every hour spent chasing a booking by email is an hour not spent on the club.
What we built
The public site is the smaller half of the job. Behind a member login sits the part that does the work: bunk booking with live availability, event management, committee voting, and an admin panel the committee can actually operate without calling anyone.
Members log in and book their own bunks. The system knows what is free. Nobody has to check a spreadsheet.
The result
Bunk bookings that used to run through a volunteer's inbox now run themselves. The committee has one place to manage members, events and votes.
The club owns the whole thing, including the database and the hosting account.
