    Web Design Launceston

Websites for Launceston businesses, built down the road and live within a week.

We take on a limited number of projects each month.

    Down the road

You can sit across a table from the person building it, then watch it go live.

    • Watson & Hegarty, Launceston
    • Toorbunna Ski Club, Tasmania
    • Thermawood, Launceston
    • 20 years in business here

    The problem

Is your website costing you work?

It does not show up when someone searches.

Someone in Kings Meadows types “accountant Launceston” into their phone. If you are not in the map results and not on page one, you do not exist for that search. Most Launceston business sites have never had their Google Business Profile properly set up.

It was built in 2014 and nobody can change it.

The person who built it has moved on, the platform it sits on is out of date, and changing a phone number means emailing someone and waiting. Meanwhile it is quietly failing on phones, which is where most of your customers are.

It does not tell anyone what you actually do.

Businesses in this town run on relationships and word of mouth, which is why so many local sites are just a logo, a photo of the building and a contact form. That works right up until someone who has never met you looks you up first.

    Case study, Launceston

A Launceston accounting firm, live inside the same business week

Watson & Hegarty website, an accounting firm in Launceston

Watson & Hegarty have been doing the books for Launceston businesses for a long time, and their reputation was built entirely on relationships rather than marketing. A website had never really mattered, because the work came from people who already knew them. It started to matter when the people looking for an accountant were searching first and asking around second.

The structure was settled before a line of code was written. Six pages, one for each thing they actually get asked about, the phone number in the header of every page so nobody has to hunt for it, and a real photograph of Launceston instead of a stock photo of two people shaking hands in a glass office. It reads like the firm, because it was written from a conversation with the firm.

Four days from the first phone call to a finished site. There was no design round, no staging review committee and no three week wait for feedback on a mockup, because the thing they were looking at was the actual site.

    Day 5

Launch, then pick how you want to run it

    Most clients

    I look after it

From $30/month. Hosting, security, backups, monitoring. You never think about it again.

    You run it

Full handover. Domain, code, every account, plus written docs. No fee, no hard feelings.

Most sites are live within a week. Simple ones go within two days. The reason is not that I rush. It is that there is nobody to brief and no queue in front of you.

    Local

Why it matters that I am here.

I am in Launceston. If you want to sit down and go through it in person, that is easy to arrange.

The bigger reason is that I know what a quiet July looks like here, and I know that half your customers will find you on a phone in a car park with one bar of signal. Those are design decisions, and they get made without me having to ask you what Launceston is like.
