Work / Watson & Hegarty
Accounting and advisory firm, Launceston
A full online presence for a Launceston accounting firm, designed, written and live four days after the first phone call.

Watson & Hegarty are a well-established Launceston accounting and advisory firm. Their reputation is built on relationships, not marketing, and their website reflected that. It did not explain what they did, it was hard to use on a phone, and it gave a prospective client no obvious way to make contact.
The brief was not complicated. It needed to look like the firm they actually are, load quickly, work on a phone, and put the phone number where people could find it.
We worked from what they already had rather than starting a discovery process. Their services, their people, and the way they describe their own work were all there. The job was structuring it.
The site is six pages: home, services, our people, legal, useful links and contact. Every page carries the phone number in the header and a clear enquiry path. The hero uses a real photograph of Launceston, not a stock image of a handshake.
Because the structure was settled before any code was written, the build ran straight through without a single round of revisions.
The site was live four days after the first conversation, inside the same business week. It loads fast, works properly on a phone, and a visitor can reach the firm from any page.
This is the clearest example of what speed actually buys a client. There was no three-week design phase, no round of mockups, and no invoice for time spent in meetings about the shade of blue.
